Npauj Ntseg #1

Absolutely gorgeous piece of npauj ntseg earrings. Circa 1900. These were acquired in Son La district in northeastern Vietnam. This is an exceptionally rare and BIG piece–it is enormous–at 63.40 grams, it is one of the biggest and heaviest earrings we have ever encountered. Very fine engravings that are sure to be an eyecatcher. In overall amazing condition for it's shape and age: no missing npauj, with little patina, and flawless shape. Being 900 fine silver, it has some verdigris patina, namely on the npauj of one earring of the set.
