Kooj Ntseg Xub

A pair of earrings from Luang Prabang province in Laos. This style of earrings were popular in the 1950's in Hmong communities all across southeast Asia, but especially in northwest Laos, such as in Luang Prabang. They were also often sold to and worn by other ethnic minority groups such as the Red Dao. This specific pair is in great shape with pronounced engravings. 12.39 grams.
