Hauv Yaum Tooj Liab | Antique Hmong Copper Priming Flask
Hauv Yaum, also called Huj Yum — used for priming a flintlock. Traditionally worn on the neck. This hauv yaum is very distinct from most, because it is more stout and wider than normal. These are suprisingly rare to come by, especially one this beautiful and in this great of shape. Made of copper, with a great dark patina. Circa late 1800 to mid 1900.
Hemp string is new—everything else is original.
As with all antiques we sell, the pictures you see are the actual antique you will receive—there is only one available.
